Join us for an overview of best practices and key considerations for an investment consultant search process. We'll cover a range of topics, including how to think about your investment consultant model, reasons to consider a search, ways to structure the search process itself, and decision-making tips. We'll demystify what can seem like an overwhelming process, leaving you equipped to take this work on for your own foundation. 

Kaufman Hall, which offers consultant search services for a range of non-profit organizations, will be leading the discussion, along with Laura Kernaghan from the Chicago Community Trust.

  • Describe investment consulting models and understand what fits your needs
  • List three reasons to consider a selection process
  • Understand how to set search priorities and determine whether to engage a search consultant
  • Evaluate different models (RFI, RFP, interviews) for gathering information & set an evaluation framework
